With the increase of NaOH content, the precipitation gradually disappeared and NaAlO2 dissolved in water was formed, indicating that Al ions occupied the original solution. Adding BaCl2 solution acidified by dilute hydrochloric acid (dilute hydrochloric acid acidification is to aluminum sulphate equipment of silver ions, sulfite ions, carbonate ions, etc.), if white precipitate insoluble in dilute nitric acid is produced, it is proved that sulfate ion exists.
