Nonferrous aluminum sulfate products produced by iron-free aluminum sulfate equipment are generally white granular or block solid with metallic luster. Its properties are relatively stable, soluble in water, insoluble in methanol, the solution is acidic.
When heated, the colored aluminum sulfate produced by our ferrous aluminum sulfate plant expands and becomes spongy. The dehydration temperature is 86.5 ℃ and the crystallization water loss occurs when heated to 250 ℃. Anhydrousiron-free aluminum sulfate equipment begins to decompose when heated to 300 ℃. The anhydrous material is white crystal with pearl luster.
It is often confused with iron-free aluminum sulfate equipment alum reagent and is not widely used in industry. Aluminum sulfate is commonly used as flocculant in drinking water purification and sewage treatment equipment, and also used in paper industry.
